Last Will and Testament of Thomas Outten

In the name of God, Amen. I, Thomas Outten of Worcester County in the State of Maryland, being weak in body, but of perfect, sound and disposing memory do (this second day of November, Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Seventy-seven) make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form (to-wit)

first I will, give and bequeath unto my brother Samuel Outten all the lands and appurtenances thereunto belonging that my father, Thomas Outten did by his last Will and Testament Bequeath unto me. Which I give and Bequeath unto my brother Samuel Outten and his heirs and Assigns forever. But in case my said brother Samuel should die without lawful issues, begotten by his own body my will is and the intent of this my last Will and Testament is, that the said Lands and plantation afore-said I Give, Will and Bequeath unto by Brother Mathias Outten and his heirs and assigns forever--

Item--I give and will and bequeath unto my brother, Matthias Outten my part of a Saw-mill now erected on the above mentioned and willed lands, to be possessed by him, the said Matthias Outten and his heirs, after my decease, as fully as myself according to an agreement between myself and John Townsend to him the said Matthias Outten and his heirs and Assigns forever.

Item--I Give, Will and Bequeath unto my two sisters Leah Outten and Sarah Outten all my personal estate of what kind soever after discharging by just debts to be Equally Divided between them, the said Leah and Sarah Outten and their heirs and Assigns forever.

Item--I give and bequeath and my desire is that my brother, Samuel Outten Shall have all my wearing apparril of what kind soever after my Decease and I constitute and appoint by brother, Matthias Outten Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, for the trust on this my will contained Revoking and dissannulling all other former Wills by me made confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof, I, the said Thomas Outten have put my hand and affixed my Seal the Day and Year first above written.

Signed, sealed, published and delivered by the Said Thomas Outten to be his last Will and Testament who were present at the signing of same.
