3 - In case of the death of either of my sons before arriving at lawful age, or without lawful issue, my will is that the survivors should have the whole of my estate.

4 - In case of the death of all of my children before arriving at lawful age, or without lawful issue, my will is that my wife Elizabeth Outten, if she survive them all be hers to the whole of my estate.

5 - In case my wife Elizabeth Outten should not survive my aforesaid children, and all of my children should die, before arriving to lawful age or without lawful issue, my will is that the while of my estate be disposed of as the law directs.

6 - I nominate and appoint my wife Elizabeth Outten, executrix, and my friend Thomas Sturgis, executor to my estate.
